Begin by sensing the Sacred Space that surrounds you. Draw its pure white light around you. Feel it expand out to touch all of the Sacred Space about you. Feel it expand out, filling the room with Love and Light and Peace. Breathe in… and breathe out… once again breathe in… and breathe out… as we begin our journey...  

In your mind’s eye we begin to…see and sense that we are on a hill overlooking one of the largest and impenetrable parts of the forest, on one of the coldest, mysterious nights of the year. You feel perfectly secure and protected wrapped within warm clothing and a soft luxurious scarf. Perceive the pine trees around you standing guard with their green, frosty boughs. See a lake in the far distance frozen and glistening. Hear the ground crackle as you start to walk towards and then further and further into this dense wooded area. Your nose is cold, but you feel alive… and brisk and glowing. The frosty air has sharpened all of your senses.  

You can see wondrous things you have not seen before, both with your outer vision and your inner visualization. Look and observe... What do you see?         (pause…)  

The dance of the branches in the wind… the clouds drifting across the dark night sky… the mist rising from the earth… and swirling around all in its path…  

You sense that you hear sounds you have not heard before. Ssssh… Listen for them… What do you hear?                             (pause…)  

The call of the white owl… the rustle of the leaves… small animals scampering along the ground… and scurrying up the trunks of the trees… and now the still tranquil silence of the forest…           (pause) 

You quietly become engrossed by all that is around you and become one with the essence of your surroundings… calmly you continue on deep into the forest totally at peace with all. You absorb your surroundings and become lost in their fundamental nature and the spirit of the environment.            (pause) 

You move effortlessly deeper and deeper into a mysterious, magical part of the forest… until you come upon a clearing where there are others gathered in silence within a circle about a soaring great spruce tree. They are reverently placing bells and garland around and about the trees numerous branches. You quietly stop and watch this ritual with fascination…                                               (pause) 

The night is hushed and the sky deep sapphire blue with only a distant sign of stars and the hint of the soft light of the full moon. All appears very still and waiting in anticipation for the advent of something...       

After an infinite amount of time has passed you notice off in the distance a very small flickering light slowly emerging from the depths of the forest…    an etheric being of Light gently emerges from the forest carrying one small flickering candle… she approaches the circle that surrounds the tree and lights a candle held by one of the participants with her candle… as each candle is lit the person then turns to another and quietly lights their candle…  

You are given a taper and slowly become drawn into this circle were you too have your candle lit and begin to participate in this ritual…    during this ceremony the tree delicately sways with the wind… allowing the garland to sparkle and the bells to softly echo with their chimes throughout the woods…        with time you come to realize that the whole area, the formally dark forest and the sky are now ablaze with the dazzling and luminous light of all these many candles. 

You marvel at each small flickering light and how as they are joined that they illuminate the entire region making it seems as if the sun has once more been called forth and shines with its warmth.  

During this time you begin to ponder for yourself:

What am I endeavoring to manifest in my life at this time?

What old connections and thoughts could I release for my highest good?

Where can I turn for the best sources of inspiration and clarification?

What parts of me will awaken as the rebirth of spring arrives?

What new idea has seeded itself this winter, and how can I nurture it to fruition, as the earth nurtures her seeds?                 (pause) 

With these thoughts we honor the growth, the energy and the life force of all things and concepts we can and cannot see and recognize, and the manifestation of the hidden. We honor our faith in the silence, the shadows and the mystery of life, from which all new creation emerges. We honor the place of silence and safe incubation where life, solutions and inspirations find nourishment and fertile space in which to begin their journeys. We reclaim hope in the face of troubles, knowing that the seeds of change are always present. We honor our own staying power, collectively and individually… for having the courage to perceive something despite the illusion of darkness.             (pause) 

After eons of time and space the dawn begins to lend its light to this ceremony. Then quietly the participants of this ritual begin to drift off back into all the areas of the forest from which they came. Taking their new found light and hope with them to their place of origin. After much time and thought you too turn your thoughts and feet to returning to your former surroundings. The wind, the new dawn light and the sound of the bells escort you back along your path home...

You absorb all around you… the crisp clean air of the new day, the sight of the morning star and the first beginnings of the winter season; the crackle of the earth and vegetation beneath your feet; the sounds of the wind and the birds in flight; and the warmth and expectation of the sun’s light which has been called forth this night.                 (pause) 

Let us now take a deep breath and thank the powers that be for this feeling of sanctuary and well-being.  

Let us take a deep breath and ask for continued protection and comfort, for ourselves and for anyone about whom we are concerned.            

Let us take a deep breath and envision the world at peace.  

Let us take a deep breath and begin to feel both aware and relaxed.  

Begin to once again focus your attention on your breathing pattern and slowly start to return your attention to this place and time.  I thank you for your presence and for your energy and light…

The honest individual will realize with a little introspection that much of their life has been devoted to the maintenance of the illusion of this separate ego.   

I would like to express to you the Truth, which will enable discerning individuals to express their inherent Divinity in the natural manner which life intends.  

Separateness is not authentic and it is not Truth. The aspirant must not dignify nor recognize the personal self as an adversary to be overcome because in so doing they give erroneous recognition to a power which uses the shadow-self, and which then, by the very life of the aspirant released through this power, lives to create anguish.

There are few unascended being who are not thoroughly convinced of their identity as an ego apart from the fullness of the Divine, whose rights and attributes must be affirmed and protected by self-conscious effort. The constant struggle to maintain a separate identity rather than allowing the little self to flow gently into the One Universal whole is unnatural and is the cause of much stress, nervous tension and emotional distress and unrest. It is as if one wave of the sea refused to merge and become part of the tide. The uneven and unnatural struggle would soon exhaust the energy of the erring wave, which would then be drawn by the power of the great ocean back into its natural oneness with the sea.  

Humanity often looks at God or the Divine as a Being apart from itself, which it seeks to attain through a constant battle with this separate entity created by its own belief. The Ascended Host and all Beings of Light are a part of the Universal Consciousness and from the bosom of this Oneness pour forth Light to all the balance of the expressions of the Divine.

There is but One Truth, but many, many reflections, and I ask you now to earnestly endeavor to pass away from the veneration of the reflected image and draw nearer, ever nearer and still nearer to the majesty of the All-Pervading and Changeless One.  

Every ripple on the ocean shimmers with the reflection of the Sun's Rays and the Sun's Glory, but the Sun is high above them all. Think on these things! The sun is high above them all. So it is with the One Truth. It is fixed high above any one of its reflections as it shines on the ripples of human thought.  

The reflections are constantly changing, changing, and then moving on. Ever changing, ever moving, moving into favor and moving out of favor, ever moving, ever changing, but the One Truth changes not. It is the one stationary force. The One Truth is I AM.  

The One Truth is I AM. All else is but its reflection. If you worship the ripple, if you worship the reflection you worship ignorance. To love ignorance is to destroy human happiness. Within the One Truth all knowledge is fixed. Seek this knowledge and all that is changeless and undying will be found, and Victory will be yours. That which changes is of the world of illusion, only that which is changeless is real. And that which changes not abides at the very center of your being - the One Truth - the Eternal Flame of Truth - I AM.  

There is but One Truth, and that Truth is Simple - I AM that I AM.  

Know the One Truth and understand its many fundamental aspects of Truth. Know and understand the inevitability of the death of the ego of all humanity before their resurrection and re-creation and ultimate perfection as they blend into the One Truth. It is essential that you accept the inevitability of the suffering and death of the ego before it is possible for you, while still in the flesh, to resurrect and re-create into ultimate perfection, blending for all time with the Eternal One.
