Beloved Gautama

As shone the Light on Mercy's Temple Altar,

And pilgrims bowed their heads in silent prayer,

'Twas then thy Holy Presence did appear;

As thou didst then return from blest Nirvana

To this fair Earth which long had been thy home,

In great compassion for God's children here -

To teach them how to purify their souls.

Dear Lord Gautama guide us on. Light's Pathway

That we thy Love and Grace may manifest;

As thou through ages preparation made

To take the place of dear Sanat Kumara

Whose Love and Honor held Earth's balance true,

And Light's great Power did then all hearts pervade.

Thus, one by one, we now attain our Goal.

From thee, Great Central Sun, we ask thy blessings

On our dear Lord Gautama, Prince of Light;

In gratitude for such a friend as he.

Blest Lord of all the World, our prayers ascending

Do now invoke Shamballa's Love and Peace.

Give us thy Patience now to love life free

That we may help to raise each earnest soul.
