John, the Beloved
Chohan of the Sixth Ray
Greetings, from the Schools of Light within the Etheric Cities of John. Welcome info my Heart, dedicated to the expression of the Christ in the world of form. Feel my Love and that of my guru, Lord Divino, as I update you on the work of the Sixth Ray.
The Sixth Ray is now primarily dedicated to outer service for the expression of the Christ in the world of form. You have been studying and becoming The Christ IN CONSCIOUSNESS. It is time now to accent the continuation of this process, where consciousness is translated into form through character. "Do not hide your Light under a bushel!" - refers to this necessary expression of Christ Consciousness through CHRIST CHARACTER.
While in embodiment the medium of expression is the personality or character. Many on the Spiritual Path err in feeling they need to obliterate the personality. The truth is they need to overcome and eventually transmute the human ego, the source of all ill motive, so it can no longer control the personality. This then allows the expression of the Christ through the personality, building into the character CHRIST TRAITS as character traits.
May I remind you that our beloved Lord Divino‘s Temple in the Sun is dedicated to "the Christ Man working through personality". The goal then becomes transformation of the personality, expressing the noble traits of Christhood, while transmuting the base qualities of the small selfish ego.
The commonest avenue through which the small selfish ego retains control of the personality is through wrong concepts in the mind, particularly those of criticism, condemnation and judgment.
These three, in particular, are the chief work of the small self in defending itself. Our beloved Lord Gautama has recently reminded you (Please see The Word, December 1981 . page 6) to root out these human concepts — as he also taught twenty-five hundred years ago, with the Eight-fold Path; which included right belief, right understanding and possibly most important, right concentration or the
continual mindfulness of God. (mouse over)The Buddhist Path has always maintained a chela's honest and open introspection of mind and character and then actively letting go (not hiding or suppressing) the imperfect concepts of traits. Our beloved Saint Germain has made this path easier with a tangible gift of Grace, the Sacred Violet Fire, to transmute the momentum of the lower self in consciousness as well as in character.
The expression of Holy or Christed Consciousness through a Godly Character is much of the work of the present Buddha, our beloved Lord Divino. It is in his service I come to you today, he bids me remind you that the greatest control over the powerhouse of feelings is a purified mind with balanced and constructive concepts and thought processes. This then feeds the emotional world with only constructive forms to energize and manifest.
Within the Etheric Cities pulsating here over the southwest United States, are many Schools of Light with Ascended Brothers and Sisters of the Sixth Ray eager to teach and emulate Christ Character building. These Schools are designed to include the so-called orthodox consciousness so we may begin to work with constructive humankind in their present state of awareness. Of course, the core of the teaching remains purifying consciousness, with an increasing understanding and use of the Sacred Fire.
But dear advanced student of Light, my message today is simple yet filled with importance. TRANSFORMATION IN CONSCIOUSNESS must express as TRANSFORMATION OF CHARACTER. You are at the point now where the years of purification of consciousness can be revealed as Divine Character, the Christ functioning through personality. Believe, feel and know the Sacred Fire so long invoked in your inner nature can express now on the outer as Divine Personality.
This truly allows your powerful inner Light and Radiation to shine on to the Screen of Life as a tangible example of Divinity for all to see, and experience. I know this so well for this was the work of the first Disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, Beloved Micah, Angel of Unity, and has always been the teaching of Beloved Lord Maitreya/Divino.
Exert the effort, beloved ones, in being mindful, moment to moment, of your Divine Self expressing. Come often to the schools within the Retreat of the Sixth Ray where we long to serve you in this process. We of the Spiritual Hierarchy look forward to the Divine Personality flourishing within the Group Avatar as it did through the Master Jesus.
