THE TEMPLE OF HOPE

Breathe deeply and slowly, as you become centered within the love, light and protection of the Three-Fold Flame of your heart. Enfolded now within that Flame, your senses of inner vision and hearing begin to expand and sharpen. As you are bathed in the sacred tones of the Music of the Spheres, your consciousness is drawn gently upwards. At the prompting of your Inner Christ, you slowly open your eyes.

You stand in the central court of the Temple of Hope. Circular in design, the court is surrounded by tall white pillars, between which the sun shines freely into the room. You stand among a large group of chelas, many of whom you recognize as friends and co-servers. All of you are wearing long white robes, simple in design, but made of a fabric which has a beautiful radiance about it. Glimpses of all the colors of the seven spheres shine from it as shafts of sunlight seem to move around all those assembled. A huge golden brazier rests upon the Altar in the center of the room. The mighty Flame of Hope and Purity blazes within it, so brilliant that, even with expanded vision, you know that you are being shielded from its full radiance as you look upon it.

At a silent signal, the chelas all turn to face the Sacred Flame. Standing now on either side of the brazier are two magnificent Archangels. The beauty of their countenance cannot be described in words, so radiant is Their Presence. Their aura reaches forth to embrace all assembled, and you experience the complete and total peace, love and joy of Christ Consciousness. In humility, you realize that you stand in the Presence of beloved Archangel Gabriel and Archaii Hope.

Gabriel touches your open consciousness with the love which he holds for all humankind, and for each individual chela who stands before him. For a few moments, you are immersed in the realization of the height and depth of the love that is given to all life through this great Being. In the deep silence of that realization, you hear the voice of Lady Hope.

"Beloved Ones, you have been brought to Our Temple by the force of your own desire to serve as manifest expressions of the qualities of Hope and Purity for all life on Earth. As we baptize you today in the sacred Ascension Flame, there will be created around the Three-Fold Flame in your own hearts a permanent focus of Hope and Purity. You will carry this Flame with you always. At your conscious invocation, it may be called forth for all with whom you have contact.

Be aware that this is a great responsibility, as well as a blessing. You must guard this inner focus of Light at all-times, and the power of your attention and love is required for this purpose. The choice is yours!"

As her message is completed, there are a few moments of complete silence. During this time, the chelas who choose not to accept this responsibility quietly leave the Temple. Those who choose to remain now see Lady Hope and Archangel Gabriel turn to face the golden brazier. Their Light merges and they enter the Flame, becoming one with It. Immediately, the Flame blazes upward and expands outward in a tremendous display of power, and all who stand in the court are enfolded in Its purifying essence! As you are immersed in this Mighty Flame of Hope and Purity, your heart leaps up in response. Instantly, you feel the focus of the Ascension Flame anchored within it, encircling your own Three- Fold Flame, now and forever.

In love and gratitude for the blessing received, you are filled with determination to carry the Flame of Hope to all humanity, fulfilling the fiat given to you by beloved Archaii Hope. Retaining the beauty and depth of your experience, you breathe deeply and quietly, and return in consciousness to your physical location.

A CHELA'S RESOLUTION

Were I to make a New Years Resolution for the year of 1992, I would strive to express the Christ daily within my life; every hour to be mindful of my heritage, which is perfection.

I would strive to be perfection personified, living daily, ever conscious of the Eternal Now; New Year, New Life, New Dedications, New Motives, New Determinations.

I feel this wonderful newness, now realizing that the slate has been wiped clean. Now it is up to me to keep it that way - always. It is a day-by-day, minute-by-minute process, done consciously, patiently, gently, peacefully; transmuting my past mistakes, enjoying the newness which is mine to claim.

Behold I make all things new!
