Angel Eyes

I live and move in a Cross of Blue Light,

Surrounded by God's Angels bright.

I feel Their love all around me,

Keeping me safe, and wholly free.

I look around and beauty see,

For Angel eyes look back at me!

In every bird, and creature free,

Their precious eyes look back at me!

Wherever I might find myself,

In all creation round about―

Trusting and loving, I now can be,

For Angel Eyes look back at me!

My deepest prayer, in heart held fast,

Is that―when you look at me,

I shall reflect Their love, so true,

Through Angel Eyes―beholding you.

And whenever I might look at you,

May I see in your eyes, too,

God's Faith, Hope and Charity―

In Angel Eyes―beholding me.
