Beloved Chelas,

It is truly a joy to be with you and experience the love that flows between us. You are My faithful friends of many ages, come again to this Earth to act as My emissaries of the Flame of Spiritual Freedom to all life.

Dear Friends, one of the reasons why the Violet Fire is called 'the most powerful aspect of Love' is because Divine Love, in its highest and most perfected expression, always gives complete and total freedom to all life within which it dwells, and through which it expresses.

As the Earth is being prepared for the full advent of the New Age of Spiritual Freedom, I have the honor, privilege and responsibility of acting as the Chohan of the Seventh Ray. As you know, I will remain in this position during the full cycle that the Seventh Ray is in power. This will cover the time period of two thousand years, which will complete the cosmic cycle for the Earth to ascend into the higher vibration of true Spiritual Freedom and the new orbit ordained.

You―Our chelas―have grown greatly in your spiritual understanding during the years since the foundation of The Bridge to Freedom. Now Our beloved Bridge is named 'The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom,’ to proclaim the new and higher vibratory activity into which it has entered. Your fertile, up-reaching consciousness is a constant source of joy and gratitude to Me and to all Those great Beings of Light, Who are helping to bring the New Age forth through all the transitions required.

I would like to speak about ceremonies, rituals, and some of the sacred symbols We use to express Spiritual meanings to those of you, who are Our chelas. Ceremonies held in the Octaves of Light are exquisite beyond description, being absolutely pure in both concept and expression. Cosmic Rituals are given at Inner Levels in order to activate transitions upon the mental, emotional, etheric and physical planes.

All rituals in the world of form are―in some way―the reflection of a ceremony initially held at inner levels. This is one of the primary reasons that We give information from time to time regarding the ceremonies that take place in the Retreats of the Ascended Masters. As the Light energies of a Cosmic Ceremony move downward from the Ascended Master Realms into the physical octaves, the consciousness that is the most closely aligned with the Higher Realms is the first to respond.

For you―Our chelas and initiates―there is a closer and closer relationship with the inner ceremonies, so that you often share in them directly. These ceremonies serve to activate changes in the consciousness of the race. As the inspiration from the highest level of ritual moves on its downward curve through the mass consciousness, individuals on the physical plane of expression attune to the inner rituals. Inspired by the vision received, embodied lifestreams then create rituals and ceremonies to express their understanding as fully as possible, according to their level of evolution. People of like consciousness are attracted to them, taking part in such rituals in order to raise their understanding to its next step.

One example of a Cosmic Ceremony in which the chelas take a direct and active part is―of course―the ceremony of the Changing of The Spiritual Guard for The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom, held at the New Year. All of the chelas in the entire Body of Light have access to this ceremony at a conscious level. There are more and more lifestreams attracted to this particular Conference of the Ascended Masters. This is in response to the developing beauty and love expressed by all involved and connected with this work, and the level of constancy you display. We are grateful!

A second example of Cosmic Ceremony in which the chelas take part is the Petition Classes. Many years ago, a group of chelas of The Bridge to Freedom Activity, attuned to the ceremony taking place at the Grand Teton Retreat at the exact time that the Higher Ceremony was in progress. This was a powerful experience for those who were involved at that time. It represented a real breakthrough in connecting the consciousness of the human octave with the Octaves of Light. Following that event, a small group of chelas kept a connection with this activity. This was to allow the larger group of chelas time to expand their understanding of the reasons why petitions are submitted to the Karmic Board. When this understanding was anchored in the consciousness of the group as a whole, the pattern of the Petition Classes was again brought forward. This has enabled the chelas worldwide to become involved in the Activity of the Ascended Masters in a direct time-frame.

During some of the Ceremonies held at inner levels, one of the sacred symbols We use is the crown. In the Ascended Realms, a crown is symbolic of the feminine aspect of authority, representing the opening―or channel―through which God ideas are projected into the consciousness. A crown often represents awakening, illumination, or the advent of a new state of consciousness or activity.

You have been taught about the Crown of the Elohim upon your brow, with the Seven Flames of the Elohim represented on the front at the third eye level. This provides the Open Door for the Builders of Form into the consciousness of humankind, and represents the Mental Nature of God. The Circlet of the Crown provides the anchorage of the Second Ray, and also serves as the Open Door to the Seven Archangels, Who represent the Feeling Nature of God. The Crown of the Elohim and Archangels protects the crown chakra of each embodied lifestream, until such time as it may be safely opened to full Spiritual Enlightenment. Thus, as each lifestream is prepared, the Crown of the Elohim acts as both the doorway of God Consciousness and the full merging of mind and feelings in perfect balance.

We have described the Crown worn by Archangel Michael when He escorted the Holy Innocents into the Earth so long ago, at the beginning of the first Cosmic Cycle. This is The Crown of Chohanship. Lord Michael acted as Chohan of the First Ray at the beginning of the initial Cosmic Cycle of 2000 years. In sacred ceremony, it has been placed upon the head of each ruling Chohan since that time, remaining in place during the 2000 years in which each Ray is the dominant¾or ruling¾force of the Earth. Although the Crown of Chohanship may be most familiar to our chelas, We employ the symbol of a crown in many different ways. For example, in one of My first acts as Chohan of this Age, I presented a Crown and Scepter to Lady Mercedes and Lord Saithrhu, the Manus of the Seventh Root Race. In this ceremony, the Crown and Scepter represented My allegiance to Lady Mercedes and Lord Saithrhu, as well as My commitment to Our shared goal of purifying and freeing the evolutions of the planet Earth, to prepare a suitable home for the Seventh Root Race.

In merging the higher aspects of Divine Love, Wisdom and Power with the consciousness of embodied lifestreams, some confusion and misunderstandings occasionally result. Human consciousness sometimes translates symbols in ways which are not completely aligned with the higher understanding intended. It is important that―as the Spiritual consciousness of individuals and groups expands―misunderstandings that occurred at earlier times be released into the Violet Fire of Transmutation and perceived as the natural result of evolving consciousness. This is vitally important as this new year commences, for you have received the Gift of Forgiveness once more, both for yourselves and for the planet Earth.

Another important symbol is the scepter. Like the crown, it is a symbol of power, and represents the masculine nature of God, as expressed through the First Ray. In the human being, the scepter is embodied in the spinal column, connecting the chakra systems of the four lower vehicles. It is the avenue of power, carrying the impetus of Divine Ideation to all your creative centers. It controls the energy flow within the entire system. The scepter is activated at the throat chakra by the power of the Word.

The chalice is the symbol of the heart, and is the anchorage of the Third Ray of Divine Love. The nurturing activity of all spiritual understanding takes place in the heart center, for it acts as the womb of all Divine Ideas that will eventually manifest in the outer world.

It is vitally important that these three symbols be clearly understood and remembered, because they are used at all levels of consciousness to expedite your spiritual growth. The language of symbols will also assist you to understand the meaning of the ceremonies that take place in the Octaves of Light, both those I have mentioned, and others that may be revealed in times to come.

Beloved chelas, as you have entered the vibratory activity of the Second Ray, an intensified outpouring of Divine Illumination, Wisdom and Understanding will take place all during this year. Before I leave you this evening, I desire to give you a gift, as a sign of My friendship, if you will accept it. I lovingly offer you the Crown of My understanding, bestowing upon you the ability to look beyond the surface of your experiences and receive the deeper comprehension required for a Teacher of the New Age. I place within your hands the Scepter of My Power of accomplishment, so you may manifest whatever is required to bring forth the New Age of Spiritual Freedom for all life you contact.

Know always that I love you, and I AM eternally grateful for the constancy of your friendship, which is your gift to Me.
