Message from the President

As the holidays are fast approaching and this year is drawing to a close, it is time for each of us to go within and discover the gifts and blessings we have received during the past twelve month period. For most of us, I am sure there have been many. During this year of the Violet Fire, opportunities for growth were presented to us at all levels, each and every single day. We were able to constantly put into practice what we have learned through the teachings of the Ascended Masters, whether the outer manifestation of the lesson was wonderful to experience or difficult to endure.

The truth of the matter is that, to the best of our ability, we, the chelas of The Great white Brotherhood, have, in most instances, done pretty well. It is now time to offer our love and gratitude to our Father-Mother God for the opportunity to have embodied upon this planet so that, through our many experiences, we may take a few more steps along the path toward self-mastery. What is true for each of us must also be true for Shamballa and The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom. As a group activity, we have experienced a few situations that, if we had a choice, perhaps we would have rather not encountered. But then again, we must remember that each event was an opportunity for growth and development. For this we must be grateful!

The new format of the Journal has been very well received with few problems encountered. As you will notice, even though the magazine now goes out each quarter, with two additional supplements during the year, these larger magazines actually contain approximately the same amount of material, if not a little bit more, since now there is much less repetition. Many chelas have reported to me that they thoroughly enjoy the new format and spend much more time studying the material than before. Of course, there will always be those who prefer the way it has been done in the past and we do understand.

Two of our goals for next year will be to include many more new Shamballa Letters written by, among other great Beings of Light, the Enfolding Spirit for the year. Also, just as I am sure you would like to see this happen, we are planning on sending the magazines out in a more timely manner. We believe these two items can be easily accomplished, as the process of 'getting our house in order' nears completion.

For your patience, understanding and support during this time, I, and the rest of the members of the Executive Council, wish to offer our love and appreciation to each one of you by saying "Thank You"! As you all know from the contents of my letter to the membership dated August 8, 1998, it is not an easy time for any chela, The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom or Shamballa. As I stated in my letter, many changes are taking place and this Activity is rapidly moving forward. As this continues to happen, Shamballa will more perfectly be able to fulfill its divine destiny. This will be because of each and every one of you, my beloved brothers and sisters, in the Light of God that is eternally victorious!

However, I must remind everyone that, throughout this process, we need your continued financial support. For without it, no matter what we are able to accomplish here at the heartcenter, we will not be able to maintain the physical focus and the doors will close. I speak to each one of your hearts, beloved co-servers, for with the exception of a very small group of dedicated members, most of you have chosen not to send your love gifts to Shamballa at this time. I fully understand your reasons for doing this, but do you realize that it now becomes you who are truly responsible for the future of this activity of Light?

During this sacred and holy season when giving is in the minds of most people, won't you please remember your spiritual home. She is reaching out to you now.
