The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME 20, Number 20                                                                                                                       May 14, 2001

Beloved chelas,

*"I AM grateful  for the determination you have demonstrated over the past week in seeking the stillness. The activity of stilling the lower vehicles is at first, and oftentimes, the most difficult step on the journey to the Silence. You are doing well!" *(Excerpts previously published May, 28, 1993.

*"When you truly begin to demonstrate mastery over your lower vehicles, the Octaves of Light become more apparent to your consciousness. Many of you noticed this during our exercise (last week). During times of absolute stillness, the first layer of the great veil is pulled aside and one feels the closeness of the ascended realms. Of course, we are as close as your faintest thought at all times; yet the intrusion of the world of form sometimes makes it difficult to perceive this closeness..."

*"Your assignment during the next seven days is much the same as last week. Continue as you have been doing with two slight variations. First, try to practice the stillness at approximately the same time each day. This will establish your period of contemplation as part of your daily routine... Remember, we are beginning to create a momentum of conscious contact between you and God, your Inner Christ! In order to do this, we must exercise constancy of endeavor."

*"Secondly, we will begin to practice drawing the benefits of the stillness from the inner to the outer... After you have completed your ten minutes of stillness, take up a pen and paper and write a description of your experience with the stillness. Do this every day. The description of your experience does not have to be long or involved. It merely has to be your perception of what you experienced."

*"Master Jesus once said, "Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find; knock, and it will be opened unto you." Beloved ones, as you continue to perfect your mastery of your lower vehicles, it is important that you not judge yourself. Remember, you cannot fail! Feel yourself enfolded in my love, as we seek the fullness of the Christ!"
