Every Ascended Master is so eager and desirous of blending his Consciousness with any lifestream who will invite it, that it is but a wonder to us that so few choose this simple and powerful means by which they may be raised almost instantly above the human consciousness and its miseries. 

You will find, with great personal pleasure, the instantaneous response when you choose to invoke the Ascended Masters' Consciousness to flow through your own toward some specific accomplishment, and we ask that you make a permanent connection into the Ascended Masters Consciousness, from whence there can be no receding. Many hundreds of thousands of students aspire toward Perfection but want to retain their own consciousness, and as we have said before, they retain that consciousness by a tremendous effort of human will against any intrusion of the Light, which would so easily bring them freedom and release. 

It had been said that before final freedom is assured, the Flame from the head of the Ascended Master must pass through the brain structure of the unascended being, which means that the consciousness of the Master must flow through and become ONE with the consciousness of the chela. The visualization will show you that the Flame, which is the thinking and feeling power of the Master must merge with the Flame, which is the thinking and feeling power of the chela, and those two Flames must become ONE - the chela's Flame melted into and transformed into the Ascended Masters'. As you practice this glorious exercise you will find yourself reacting toward the experience of life from the Master's height, and that which has been limited or disturbing before, will not affect you any more than it affects him. 

The importance of your relationship with human beings will be far removed, and your consciousness of service will have become his Consciousness of service. You will find, in a magic, mystic manner, that your own importance and individualization ceases to be, and you will be just like the body of the Perfected Being, without any identity apart from him. Then you will have nothing to defend or protect and that will cause great peace and great unfoldment and a most marvelous opportunity for selfless service.
