Beloved Wayfarers: 

As the Rays of Light emanate from the upper figure of the chart, so do rays emanate and form the circumference of each chela's world. These are the invisible currents of thought that pass from the physical, etheric, mental and emotional bodies. The strong feeling that can be projected from the lower bodies determines the width of the circle of influence that an individual functions in at any specific time in his evolution. 

Most of the time persons live within a much smaller circle than that which they are able to create, for it is rarely that the intense feeling which carries sufficient force to project itself to any considerable distance is stirred within the individual. Each one has a much larger capacity of influence for good than he uses - there is fully two-thirds of his possible power to influence those about him which lies dormant except on rare occasions when he is stirred to his maximum effort for either good or evil. 

In this service of the Ascended Host it is important to secure those who have a capacity of a large sphere of influence. With their attention on, and their knowledge of the Light, more power is drawn into their feeling worlds, and there is more voltage, so to speak, in the rays of their thinking and feeling. 

Self-mastery and discipline of the outer must be stressed, for it is easy to see the damage that could be done by any uncontrolled burst of emotion through the chela with a large sphere of influence. 

By being over cognizant of the I AM Presence in, through and about him, and reminding himself constantly of the words of Blessed Jesus, "Peace, Be still!" the chela shall attain mastery, where he cannot be affected by the foolish mouthing of unenlightened human beings, who waste the precious Living Breath of God in vain. 

The distractions of outer living are many. The need of Light and Wisdom to unravel the intricate affairs of the day is great. To strengthen himself to meet these needs the chela can turn inwards for a few minutes many times during the day to find the Kingdom of All Light and return refreshed and enfolded in love and peace.
