Beloved Chelas of My Heart: 

The capacity of the outer personality determines the worth of the lifestream to the Brotherhood in the terms of service. 

The aspiring heart seeking admission to the Great White Brotherhood is impelled to such application by the increased pressure of Light released from the 'Presence' at a certain step of soul growth. The impetus for application to universal service comes from God, as, of course, does all good impetus and design. We can safely say that the personal self is only inspired toward Godly service by the Intelligence of the Holy Christ Self, and when that Christ Self realizes that enough of the Light and Power from the Ascended Octave is pouring through to make the instrument worthy of the time and effort which will be dedicated to it by the Brotherhood, then such an applicant becomes a co-worker with God. People, therefore, do not have the urge to become Universal Brothers until their own 'I AM' Presence has so decreed it, because the wisdom of their Presence would not waste the time or energy of the Brotherhood with a personality whose development had not some of the seed or shoot of promise. 

The rare exceptions to this rule are those who have developed tremendous occult powers through centuries past and, without the heart-impulse, apply for membership for selfish reasons while the far greater number of applicants are God-directed and inspired. This great Brotherhood, upon receiving such application, is instantly cognizant of the impetus behind the application, and when God-directed, all such applicants are accepted, for the Sphere of usefulness is never ending. 

The capacity for usefulness determines the training provided for the new Brother and also the opportunity in the form of some more or less humble service wherein his capacity may grow and prepare him for a greater part in the future Order. The care and choice of instruction, and the place in which the individual finds himself is far more detailed and loving than any unascended being can believe possible. The wise neophyte, knowing that his capacities, talents and capabilities have been carefully indexed and his future greatness considered, will find himself happy in his place and in the knowledge that not only is he serving the Brothers where they in their Wisdom, knowing where lies the greatest need which can be accomplished by his lifestream, and that he is also building into his heart, his soul, his nature and his inner bodies those particular qualities and momentums which will be required of him in tomorrow's plan. 

Accede to the wisdom of the Brotherhood, and insist through the constant heart call that the Will of the Brotherhood, which is the Will of God, may be the only directing power of your life experience, and know that you are always in the right place, doing the right service - and that the reason for your being in the Universe is that you can most fully-serve and be served in that place.
