Beloved Chelas of Light: 

It is my great pleasure to give you a brief resume of the activities which took place at the Transmission of the Flame Ceremony at the Retreat of the God and Goddess Meru last evening (Saturday, February 17, 1968). 

The glorious Flame of God Illumination, representing the Feminine Ray for the planet Earth, and focused in the Sacred Mount Meru, blazed with an expanded intensity which we of the Spiritual Hierarchy have not witnessed since the evolutions of this planet fell from grace eons ago. 

Since the specific Activity of the Spiritual Hierarchy this year is to bring God Illumination to the Earth and her evolutions through the purifying Activity of the Cosmic Circle and Sword of Blue Flame, many, many Beings from other planets came to this Sacred Ceremony to add their Light in an endeavor to assist the Earth to fulfill the Cosmic Destiny which is ordained for her. 

As you are aware, the Flame Room in this Focus is hewn out of the Mountain itself, and the actual Flame of God Illumination, carrying with it the Qualities of God Peace and Divine Love, rises out of the rocky substance instead of from an Urn or Chalice as in many other Foci of the Spiritual Hierarchy. 

The Beloved God and Goddess Meru are truly magnificent Beings, and they were attired last evening in Pure White Robes. On the left breast of their robes was emblazoned a Pink Rose, the Symbol of the brothers and sisters of this Retreat. A band of Gold adorned their foreheads from the center of which blazed a beautiful Pink Flame. 

You will be interested to know that the Beloved Lord of the World, Gautama, was present at this Ceremony - the Beloved Sanat Kumara, our Regent, and Beloved Lord Divine, the Buddha, receiving and projecting the Illumination Flame from SHAMBALLA on its journey around the planet. 

It was necessary to construct a gigantic amphitheater over the Retreat for the millions of the people on this Earth who are so sincerely asking for God Illumination at this time of great upheaval and unrest. They were brought here in their etheric garments by the brothers and sisters of this Focus who have been carefully studying all the peoples of the Earth whose auras have indicated that they desire assistance for themselves and for the Earth in general. The amphitheater was built in the form of a gigantic Sun with a pink radiance. Into this Sun was focused a direct Ray from the Heart of Helios and Vesta which will remain all through this specific period. Beloved Gautama chose to be seated Oriental fashion in the very center of this Sun, and his Presence was barely visible as he animated the Immortal Victorious Three-fold Flame, the balancing activity of Love, Wisdom and Power, which is requisite for any Divine manifestation. The Beloved Lord of the World rarely visits the other Foci of Light at the time of Transmission of the Flame Ceremonies - Lord Divino usually representing him at these important functions. However, he graciously accepted this invitation to receive the Flame of Divine Illumination from the Heart of Helios and Vesta, God Parents of this System. 

All during this month, there will be an intensified activity of the Thought Form of the Year around the planet itself - the Cosmic Circle and Sword of Blue Flame directed by the mighty Astraea and Lord Michael, with the expanded inflow of the Flame of God Illumination released through the Beloved Kenich Ahan. 

During the actual Transmission of the Flame, the Beloved God and Goddess Meru, like the mighty Lord of the World, so blended with the Flame that they were hardly visible even to the Illuminati of the Spiritual Hierarchy who added their Light and Love on its Journey to the various Foci. 

The Hierarchy, realizing that there would be a tremendous acceleration of the Light, shielded all the chelas from this great Power by a screen provided for this purpose. It was composed of a gossamer substance, almost invisible to the sight, and was a merciful protection for the unascended attending the Ceremonies. 

The Flame itself was like unto thousands of minute Suns with a pink radiance, and as we viewed its reception, we felt that it was graciously and humbly received, and we have reason to believe that you will be the recipients of tremendous blessings for your own individual unfoldment and for the benefaction of all life. 

Knowing the Love and Devotion of my beloved chelas in their Service to the Light, I thought this short description of the Activity which took place last evening would not only give you pleasure, but
