My Beloved Chelas: 

It is with great joy that I apprise you that the Spirit of the Year is the beloved Lady Hope, Divine Complement of the Archangel Gabriel. Beloved Hope volunteered to ensoul the Thought Form for the Year and she will infiltrate the consciousness of the people of Earth with the feeling that there is HOPE for the redemption of this Planet by applying the activities as set forth in the Plan for the Year. 

How merciful, how understanding is the glorious Immaculata, Planetary Silent Watcher and the beloved Gautama who brought forth the magnificent Thought Form embodying the Divine Activity which is requisite for this specific period in the evolution of the Planet Earth! 

I shall now tell you a little of the ceremony which took place at the Rocky Mountain Retreat on New Year's Eve… 

As the outgoing and incoming Sponsors of the Year approached the Throne of our Lord and King Saint Germain and the beautiful Portia, a magnificent ceremony took place. The mighty El Morya was attired in the robes of an Eastern Potentate however his hair was unbound and fell to his Shoulders. Beloved Meta wore a white Grecian gown adorned in Emeralds and beloved Kamakuna Oriental attire with Amethyst jewels. Three glorious Seraphim removed the crowns from their heads and placed them on a table before Saint Germain and then Saint Germain and Lady Portia gave them a blessing of gratitude for the tremendous service which they had given the Earth in 1969. The three out­going Sponsors bowed and thanked Saint Germain and Lady Portia for the privileges which had been bestowed upon them. They proceeded to the places provided for them, to the ecstatic music of an organ selection provided by beloved Kuthumi. 

Then, in perfect timing, the incoming Sponsors, beloved Serapis Bey, Holy Amethyst and Mother Mary approached the throne and knelt for Saint Germain's Blessing, and after the crowns were placed upon their heads signifying their special Service for the Year, they took their places on chairs in front of the throne! The mighty Serapis Bey was resplendent in the handsome robes of the Hierarch of Luxor; Holy Amethyst wore a flowing robe of white with a cape of Violet which was fairly ablaze with Violet Light. Our Blessed Mary also wore white in a Grecian design with a Diamond Heart over her bosom. 

The entire Assembly waited in reverent contemplation as the Angelic Choir gave a beautiful rendition of the Music of the Spheres and a hush fell upon them as the beloved Lord of the World Gautama entered to receive the Thought Form for the Year. In his humble yet majestic manner, he bowed before the Flame on the Altar and turned to give his Blessing to the Sponsors, after which he stepped into the Heart of the Flame. 

Blazing in magnificent beauty high in the atmosphere we see the glorious Immaculata who holds the Thought Form for the year as beloved Gautama raises his consciousness to receive it before the entire Assembly, he projects it forth and it is breathed in by all present. Then, in unison, it is projected forth for the enrichment of the Earth and her peoples. 

Remember, afar Children of Light, beloved Lady Hope wears sparkling white garments and it is my humble yet ardent prayer that none of you will despoil her garment through the release of God’s Energy in an imperfect manner. This is just a word of counsel for I know that each of you is dedicated in your service to the Light.
