The Shamballa Letter
VOLUME 12, Number 33 August 17th, 1990
Beloved Ones,
Offer God that which you have! Sometimes it is sorrow, and sometimes it is joy, but whatever is the Truth of your heart at that moment - that is what you must offer to the Presence of God "I AM"!
You can do nothing of yourselves to change conditions, either within yourselves or in the world around you. These conditions, although they may be the result of the misuse of energy, and merely an illusion, form the world into which you have come to learn mastery over your life energy.
Your desire is to put things right - to solve the problems of this world, and for this desire of the heart, I bless you. Offer this desire to the Christ within.
The training of your lower vehicles is all-consuming. It is why you are here. Yet, you must, as we have done before you, rise above it to truly heal.
Lay all that you have - which is all that you are - upon the Altar of the Living God who dwells within your hearts. This, my children, is your sacrifice. It is truly the only thing you have, and by your free will, you must give it to God. Only in this way do you free the Christ within to be the Healer!
Remember, a true sacrifice makes the life for which it is given sacred! A sacrifice must be given freely, for that is the nature of its being. If you give something with the hope of return, it is not a sacrifice. Only your love, given by you freely, can form the sacrifice which you may offer to the Christ within. This is the true healing of life, because it frees the Christ to do the work it came to do! This is the meaning of the teaching; God is the Doer, the Doing and the Deed.
Give your all to the Christ within your heart, and know that when this is done completely, the healing is also complete.
