The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME 12 - Number 11                                                                                               March 14th, 1990

Beloved Co-servers, 

I would write further about discrimination, for it has been one of the leading questions in your minds and hearts. There are so many 'leaders' and 'teachers' at this time, both in the physical and the astral realms, who are not of the Light, that it is important that our chelas know how to tell the difference. We could write a book, and perhaps we will, because there is much to teach you regarding this, but for now it is well to present some important points for you to study that will be useful to you. I will call these false teachers 'pretenders'. 

'Pretenders' will - almost without fail - speak to you in ways that will bolster the human ego, telling you that they are giving you information that only you will have. They may tell you that it is necessary that others come to you for this information, because it is unavailable to them directly. Most assuredly, you will be made to feel very, very important! Also, a 'pretender' is capable of flooding your emotional body with feelings of love that seem very real and comforting. You may be told that you are a very highly developed soul, and so on and on and on! 

Now, I would assure you that you are loved, and that you are important, because that is true, and the love of the Ascended Masters is so all-encompassing that there is no way it may be compared with lesser expressions! However, the path of True Mastery wends its way through many a test and trial of your human ego, and it is unlikely that you will ever be told that you are superior to any of your brothers and sisters in the Family of Man! In the Eye of God, every life stream sent forth is of special value, and the Virtues and Qualities of the Godhead are equally available to all, dependent only upon the asking! Of course, a true Chela makes every sincere effort to abide by the directives received! 

You, as a Chela of the Ascended Masters, know I speak the Truth! The forces of darkness adore the darkness, for in it, they are at home! Only Light can overcome darkness, and only one who continually yearns and strives for Light will continually advance in the Light of God that is Eternally Victorious! Those who do not receive Light are not denied... they merely do not seek Light, preferring to remain in the relative comfort of that which is familiar, even if it is not a happy place to be. 

Remember always: the Masters of Light dispense Light! Test all in the Flame!
