My Beloved Chelas,

I greet you from my Heart of Love. I bring you my Love of Gratitude this day, for it is through Gratitude that the Gates of Heaven are opened, and all the Gifts of God may flow into your beings and worlds.

There is a special celebration in the month of November each year called "Thanksgiving Day", held in the United States of America. I think it will be of interest to all of our chelas to know that this celebration is universal in scope, having its Divine counterpart in the Octaves of Light. This is true of all widely celebrated special days of constructive value upon the Earth, whether they are local, national, or international in scope, and regardless of where they may be observed upon the planet. 

Special days are inspired by higher influences which are brought to bear upon those dwelling within the physical realms at the time. There are always those in embodiment who can channel these divine ideas into the world of form, using their personal spiritual powers of discernment and energy to draw them forth. The idea is activated through such channels, who then inspire appropriate responses in other individuals, until a momentum is achieved which may be used to establish a commemorative activity. 

"Thanksgiving Day" was established in response to the Divine Idea of the Goodness of God in providing the "harvest" necessary to sustain physical life. It was given by the Pilgrims in gratitude to God for the gifts of the Earth, which would sustain their existence during the months of winter which lay ahead of them. They gave a great feast, and it was shared with the native people of the New Land where they now lived. It was a fine example of true brotherhood and sharing. It represented the beginning of a New World, based upon the principle of religious and political Freedom. Especially significant, it celebrated the cooperation of, not only the people involved, but the Elemental Kingdom with whom they had worked to bring forth the harvest. Without this, there would have been no harvest to celebrate. 

The Divine Counterpart of this commemorative Feast Day is, of course, the presentation of the Harvest of the Ascended Masters, Cosmic Beings, and Their chelas, to Beloved Gautama, Lord of the World, which takes place every year in the latter part of November, at the City of Shamballa in the inner realms.

Interestingly enough, the idea was received by a group of people near the physical location over which the Etheric City of Shamballa would be established in the not-too-distant future. This was in the north-eastern portion of what was soon to be the United States of America. The etheric Temple of Holy Spirit, which had flourished during the Atlantean days, was still present in the higher realms - to be rebuilt and reactivated at a later time - at the request of Beloved Holy Æolus, Cosmic Holy Spirit, as the Central Temple for His Service to the entire Planetary System of Helios and Vesta. 

There is much which may be said about the Etheric Temples and Cities which are present in the higher etheric realms around the Earth, but the reason I bring it to your attention at this time is to let you know that the influences of the Great Cosmic Lords and Beings have never left the people of Earth, who so desperately need Their assistance. 

It is just such influences which - from time to time - reach the sensitive consciousness of those of you who have come to be The Bridge upon the planet, to externalize some portion of God's Gifts and Virtues to its inhabitants. In every age and century, there are some who attune themselves to God's Will, hoping to be a Bridge of Consciousness over which that Will may be made manifest in the world of form. It is to our chelas that I speak this day, for you are those who have come to be the anchorage for this New Age, and I say that you are surrounded and permeated with the Love of God, as expressed by myself, and All of Us within the Octaves of Light. I tell you further, that you have our Gratitude for your every effort to manifest the LIGHT OF GOD THAT IS ETERNALLY VICTORIOUS upon this dear planet Earth. 

The future of this Beloved Planet depends so much upon the cooperation of the Children of Earth with Us, forming a mighty Bro­therhood of Love and Light, that I call it to your attention at this time. As you enter upon your Feast of Thanksgiving, let GRATITUDE be a part of your offering to Beloved Gautama, Lord of the World. Follow the Lead of Our Love! It is always with you!
