The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME 12, Number 48                                                                                   November 30, 1990

Dear Ones,

As most of you are aware, I have served as Chohan of the Sixth Ray of Peace and Ministration. The primary God-quality of that Ray is Peace. Inner Peace may only be reached through the avenue of Service. That is why the quality of "ministration" is an integral part of the Sixth Ray.

To serve as I have - as Chohan - does not necessarily indicate that it is the Ray from which one has emerged. In my case, my home and Heart is the Third Ray of God's Divine Love. I would enjoy teaching you about one of the most important aspects of Divine Love, for it is one which you must each fulfill. That aspect is service.

So often, we hear the call from humanity which says "Where may I best serve?" However, there is a belief that one must be gifted, or highly educated and well qualified, in the area in which he hopes to serve. My beloved ones, I would like to tell you that the areas in which you are gifted have - in all likelihood - already been fulfilled with your attainments and your service. If you give it a few moments of your concentrated thought, you will realize that the areas which you most need to fulfill are those in which you are the least gifted!

An artist loves to paint, and a musician loves to play the instrument with which he has become adept. But what about the auditorium in which the artist will perform? It must be cleaned and prepared by someone. Is that a lesser need? The doctor's examining room must be absolutely clean, and all the instruments of healing sterilized and placed in their proper places, in order for the doctor to perform his healing arts.

There is nothing in the world which is not of importance. There is no "higher" or "lower" order. All is important to the completed tapestry, for within it, the background forms the matrix upon which the design will be manifested. Without the background, there is no work of art! Think on these things!

Your Friend,

Nada
