The Shamballa Letter
VOLUME 13 - Number 24 June 14th, 1991
Beloved Ones,
I AM so pleased with your work of the past week. You are each thinking about the ways in which you might best serve, and many of you are formulating petitions of value to the evolutions upon the Earth. The very act of sitting down and thinking about what is needed to benefit the life on Earth is one of love. To further consider what you can do is to bring your love into active participation to manifest that which you perceive as good. I thank you for your efforts to expand the Light of God, for it is upon our chelas that we depend for the manifestation of the New Age of Spiritual Freedom to be brought forth!
Now I must inform you as to the responsibility that you will assume, should your petition be accepted by the Karmic Board, or should you be drawn to work with a petition of one of the Chohans or other Beings of Light. You are aware of the Law which states that there must be a physical focus for the Light to be channeled into the physical plane. Should your assistance be accepted to work with the Masters of Light, it is expected that you will continue to work on the petition you have formulated. This is done in several ways, and while none of these ways are difficult, they do require rhythm of application upon your part.
First, it is helpful to sit quietly and visualize the successful outcome of the situation reflected in your petition. For instance, if you are working for Divine Government with Master Morya, you might decide to spend some time each week in his Temple, working with a specific head of government whom you feel especially needs purification and enlightenment. You could visualize yourself standing behind this individual at the Conference Table at which El Morya counsels heads of government. Placing your hands lightly upon the shoulders of the person you have chosen to assist, visualize the Light of Divine Will and Cosmic Truth blazing in, through and around this person, and know that it is being received by the recipient with some degree of understanding and acceptance.
This is just one example to give you the idea of visiting the Retreat of the Master whom you desire to assist. This can be done on the day of the week in which his (or her) Ray is in effect. Choose - or write - a decree which will state the purpose of your work. Give the decree following your visualization.
You may also use the power of the Holy Breath to further your cause, writing an appropriate statement which you may follow mentally as you inbreathe, absorb, expand and project the breath.
If possible, you may recruit another chela who will join you in your endeavor, setting a time when you may meet and work together. If you cannot meet, you may agree to connect by ties of Light, giving your decrees, visualization, and the breathing statement at the same time, but in the privacy of your own homes.
It is also helpful to read your petition each night before retiring, so that your thoughts, sleeping as well as waking, are drawn to your work.
The Karmic Board will examine your past record to see if you are likely to take responsibility for working out your plan. If you have done such work in the past with consecration, it is very likely that your petition will be accepted. You see, The Karmic Board is the first to realize the needs of the Earth, and if your petition is accepted, they will give a balance from the Cosmic Storehouse, and double that release, to assist in the fulfilling of your plan.
Think carefully about this. It can assist the Earth tremendously, as well as accelerating your own Spiritual progress, but it is an important commitment. Whatever your final decision, you are always held in the loving embrace of the Spiritual Hierarchy. I will continue this teaching in my next letter, having given you quite a lot to consider for the coming week. I raise my Hands in blessing, and remind you to call on me.
