Beloved Chelas,

In the December session of the Karmic Board, the petitions of the Ascended Masters, all Cosmic Beings who participate, and their chelas, are carefully examined by the members of the Karmic Board. They must consider what benefits will be brought to the work of the coming year through these petitions. They must think about the long-range needs, based on the plan that is already in effect.

I wish to discuss this now, because soon you will be standing at the cusp of a New Year once again. This time, you will be supplied with the information you need to proceed into greatly expanded areas of service.

As you are aware, a new Thoughtform and Theme is given by the Lord of the World, Beloved Gautama, at the New Year Conference of the Ascended Masters at Shamballa. The Thoughtform and Theme is always supportive of the work of the previous year, as well as presenting the step to be taken in the New Year. There is a long-range plan in effect, which is worked on in progressive steps. These steps are embodied in the yearly Thoughtform and Theme. This is why there is so much emphasis put upon them in The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom.

The Thoughtform and Theme have an effect upon the petitions that will be granted. This is based upon how the petitions will enhance and further the work of actually bringing the yearly Thoughtform into manifestation for the Earth and her people. 

From the December session of the Karmic Board until the June session, the use of the energy released and dispensations granted is carefully monitored. In this way the effectiveness of the cooperative work can be evaluated. It is soon evident whether or not the chelas are continuing to support the plans to which they agreed. 

The result of the sustained interest of the chelas, or the lack of it, has a profound effect upon the acceptance or rejection of new petitions offered in June. Through your response, it is determined whether plans that were established in December should be continued, intensified, or set aside for the present.

Both sessions are equally important. By June, if the chelas are responding to the ideas and impetus that are being given to them by us, there is a definite stepping-up of activity in order to accomplish as much as possible by the end of the year. New petitions, or renewals of ones previously submitted, are much more likely to be accepted.

This year, the Thoughtform is one of Purification, sustained by Concentration upon the qualities of Cosmic Truth and Healing being projected into the planet Earth and all life upon it. Because consecration to this healing activity is deeply needed, it is important for you to contemplate the Thoughtform as it is projected into your consciousness. Visualize with me!

See the Sacred Violet Fire blazing from the heart center of the Earth, expanding outward until the entire planet is surrounded and filled with its purifying essence. In your mind, picture it clearly, as the purification takes place. Intensify the activity of the Transmuting Flame with the power of your love, your desire to cleanse and purify your planetary home. 

Now, see and feel the mighty Crystalline Pyramid of Light--the All-Seeing Eye of God--rising slowly and majestically from these flames. Let it rise from the Earth right beneath your feet, and let yourself be lifted within it to the atmosphere above. In the Crystalline Pyramid, like a great spaceship, move around the planet Earth. Add the full power of your momentum of truth and healing to the Rays of Elohim Vista. See these Rays sweep across the face of the Earth, and--penetrating right to the heart center--anchoring in the Planetary Three-fold Flame.

From this center, the Transmuting Flame rises again, repeating the entire process of purification, preparing the way for the manifesta­tion of the Living Christ Flame in the hearts of all mankind.
