Beloved Chelas,
At the close of this year, I wish to thank each of you for the strength with which you have faced the lessons and challenges of the past twelve months.
Never before have you been asked to share so much of your inner Self with the group. Never before have you faced initiations of the magnitude and significance of those which have come your way during this year. You have met your challenges with the fullness of your inner Light, and you have made great strides in your personal development.
One of the processes in which the World Teachers engage, as a group, involves a planning session at the beginning of each new cycle. During this meeting, we examine the progress which has been made by our chelas over the year just ended, and design a course of study for the coming year. The upcoming curriculum is based, in great part, upon the strength and progress that has been demonstrated by the students over the last cycle. It is never our intent to "overload" our students, or to set goals which are impossible of fulfillment. Instead, we attempt to strike a balance between challenge and victory, a rhythm of education which allows for both work and rest, creativity and nourishment.
These guidelines presented a true challenge to us at the beginning of 1993. You have been told of the importance of the remaining seven years of this century. This is a time of intense preparation for our chelas. It is necessary now that each chela give all of him or herself to the tasks at hand, in order that we may have a cohesive group of embodied Teachers and Guardians, who are consciously prepared to fulfill the requirements of ushering in the New Age of Spiritual Freedom. There is much work to be done!
As we made our plans last January, it was necessary to take into account the enfolding radiation of the year. A First Ray year is always one of activation and transformation for our chelas. Thus it happened that an Ascended Master of the First Ray was requested to join the ranks of the World Teachers. This Master was our beloved Lady Miriam and she lovingly accepted this opportunity. I bow to her in supreme gratitude and humility, for the work she has done to assist our chelas through the difficult lessons of the past year. At all times, you were enfolded in her Strength and Love, encouraged and supported in ways that perhaps you knew not of! I hope that you will each take time to send her your Love and Gratitude as well.
Dear friends, I speak for all of the World Teachers when I say that the students of the inner teachings, both individually, and as a group, far surpassed our greatest hopes during this year! We asked much - and you gave more! You persevered to the Secret Place of the Most High, and as you were nourished, you stepped forth to serve again and again. You absorbed and expanded the fullness of Divine Principle, and projected the One Law into the minds and hearts of all humankind!
Truly, you are beloved of God. I AM honored to be known as your brother and your friend!
