Beloved Ones,
Many of you have questioned the difference between the stillness and the silence. I will tell you that it is necessary to enter into and pass through the stillness, to reach the Great Silence. As the outer perimeter of the silence is reached, the Cloak of Quietude is placed about your shoulders. It is necessary to be clothed in this garment before one may be permitted to enter the silence. The silence is a sacred and holy focus of Light. One must be enfolded in a vibration of Humility and Anonymity before it is possible to enter therein. The Cloak of Quietude is composed, in great part, of these two Divine Attributes.
You have been told that Gratitude is the only vibration that can accept the Master's Flame. This Truth applies not only to the relationship between an Ascended Master and a chela, but also to the relationship between a chela and the great Master within - the Holy Christ Self.
Thus far, we have concentrated on quieting the lower vehicles in order to attain stillness. Now we will begin to purify the activities of the lower vehicles, and then to unify them into a sustained vibration of Gratitude. This activity will prepare us to accept the Flame of the Christ into our uplifted Chalice of Consciousness.
It is important to remember that our four lower vehicles were fashioned for us by the Inner Christ, for use as tools in the creative process. As we attain to contemplation and illumination, it is necessary that our lower bodies be purified, and then unified in a vibration of Gratitude and Humility. Thus, they shall cooperate with us in our endeavor to outpicture the Christ.
This week, as you enter the stillness, become conscious of your breathing. As you inbreathe, see the Light from the Heart of your Presence enter your crown chakra, and proceed to your Heart Center. As you exhale, see the Light expand outward from your and proceed to your Heart Center. As you exhale, see the Light expand outward from your Heart Center to fill each of your lower vehicles, in turn: first the physical, then the etheric, mental and emotional bodies. As you purify each body, affirm:
Blazing in, through and around my vehicle, the full momentum of the
Violet Transmuting Flame, the most powerful aspect of Love,
instantly transmutes all outstanding energy back into perfection.

After purifying all four vehicles, simply rest in the stillness. Feel the perfect Peace which you have claimed for yourself, as it fills your being. As you remain in the stillness, enfolded in perfect Peace, you will begin to be aware of a tide of Gratitude rising within you. At this point, do not command the Gratitude, or try to direct it in any way. Rest in the stillness until you feel that it is time to return to your physical location. Then, pick up your Spiritual Journal and complete your assignment for the day.
