Beloved Chelas of Light: 

I AM grateful for every opportunity to spend time with you through the Shamballa letters! It is an honor to participate in this teaching effort, as we work together upon this magnificent span of Light! 

The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom is a forerunner activity, given to the planet to lead the consciousness of the race into higher planes of understanding and evolution. Shamballa is the Chalice through which teachings may flow to the children of Earth. These teachings shall be absorbed and put into practice when each individual and group is prepared - by means of their own experience and understanding - to accept the next step. 

There is no easy way! An Ascended Master cannot, by Cosmic Law, be a master over you, or any other lifestream! Mastery can be taught, but it cannot be imposed. There is no magic. There is only your own attention, desire and determination to do that which you have set out to accomplish. This is the alchemy, and you have been given the tools! 

As you - a chela, who is being prepared as a teacher of the New Age - absorb and understand the teachings given in the Shamballa Letters, you will be able to explain their content to another individual clearly and concisely. It will not be necessary to read the letter aloud to another person. Indeed, these teachings are reserved for the time period of three years, to those chelas who have requested them. A vow is signed to this effect. 

The purpose of the three-year waiting period has been interpreted by some chelas as being related to the "sacred" nature of the information being imparted. However, this is not the most important point. More important than the words of the Master, is the Divine Idea which the Master is imparting through the medium of the written word. When the Divine Idea is firmly implanted in your consciousness, you will be able to teach the Truth in your own words and through your own life expression. 

As a student of the inner teachings of the Ascended Masters, you must have time to complete the cycle of the Holy Breath with respect to each instruction, as John has explained to you. When you read each letter, you inbreathe the teaching. You must then have time to assimilate and understand the principles revealed in the letters from the Ascended Masters. When the Truth has been fully expanded throughout your own life expression, you will then be able to project - or share - the lessons in your own words and your own way! 

It is vital that you understand the importance of "right teaching" for the many who are awakening to Spiritual consciousness. Right teaching does not entail giving "advice" regarding actions in the physical realm. Right teaching consists, in part, of guiding the lifestream to the appropriate Divine Principle that applies to the situation at hand. This is why we spend so much time explaining to you the various Cosmic Laws and Principles which govern the use of energy and its effects. 

Lord Maitreya has said that, in order to be an able Teacher, one must first prove to be an able student! Dear chelas, each one of you meets this criterion! "Keep on keep­ing on", as I like to remind you, and know that I love you, each blessed one!
