The Shamballa Letter

Blessed Friends,
I bow in loving reverence before the Christ within your hearts. I AM most honored, dear ones, to be permitted to share with you the delight of my existence - the joy of contemplation of the Presence of God I AM!
Most of our work so far this year has been centered around the planetary healing efforts in which our chelas are involved, and the various Cosmic Laws and Principles that govern the results of those efforts. Today, we begin a journey of a different sort - a journey within!
We, your Ascended Brothers and Sisters, have spoken to you often concerning the Great Silence and the gifts to be found therein. The Great Silence is the meeting place of Masters, and is the entryway into the very Heart of God. Within the Great Silence, the mysteries of the ages are revealed unto the mind of man, and the Flame of Divine Principle enfolds all within itself.
You have been told that this is a year of Illumined Obedience to the Presence of God I AM. In order to outpicture your Inner Christ, you must first spend time getting to know this great Being of Light who lives within you!
The relationship between an embodied lifestream and his or her Holy Christ Self, begins with the art of contemplation. I call this an art, for it must be diligently applied and practiced, until such time as you may carry a portion of the Silence with you at all times and into all activities in the world of form. My beloved Friend and Teacher, Djwal Khul, has referred to this as a Cloak of Quietude, and so it is.
As one attains to contemplation and enters the Silence, it is impossible to emerge without the Cloak of Quietude, for it is the gift of the Silence manifest in the world of form. When you wear this Cloak, you will know when to speak, and when to remain silent; when to act, and when to wait. As you continue to spend time in the Silence on a regular basis, you will come to know all things, for the great Silence unifies the manifest man and the Inner Christ, so that all actions proceed from the Wisdom of Divine Mind.
We will make the journey within together, you and I! In order to create an inviolable momentum of conscious contact between you and your Holy Christ Self, we will walk slowly - yet steadily, demonstrating both the patience and determination, which are the gifts of the First Ray.
Beginning today, and every day during the next week, I would like you to set aside ten minutes of time to practice stillness. Find a quiet place, a place of harmony and comfort to you. Sit in a comfortable posture. Close your eyes, and be still. Practice stilling your thoughts, feelings and memories. Practice stilling the demands of your physical body. Do not seek to experience anything except stillness!
This may sound simple to some of you, and difficult to others. Nevertheless, I would like you to practice the assignment as given, regardless of whether you are already accustomed to longer periods of meditation. Set aside all preconceived notions, and proceed.
I love you, my beloved chelas! Now, let us begin!
