Beloved chelas, 

I wish to speak to you about returning karmic energies, and the ways in which they may affect the development of your understanding, especially regarding the spiritual work you are doing with us. 

When a lifestream prepares to enter the world of form, the bands of forgetfulness are placed upon his brow prior to embodiment. This is a compassionate gift of protection against memories which could serve to discourage the lifestream from transmuting that portion of karma which the Karmic Board and all concerned have agreed he or she is capable of handling within the confines of one life span. However, the bands of forgetfulness are not intended to separate the lifestream from conscious union with the I AM Presence of God. They are also not intended to separate a lifestream from the consciousness of his connection with his brothers and sisters in the one Family of Man. 

The feeling of separation from God, which is experienced by all mankind at various times, is a by-product of being enmeshed in the returning karmic energies, which they have come forth to redeem. These unredeemed energies comprise what is referred to as the veil of maya, and is a creation of human consciousness. This return of energy must be redeemed not only by each individual, as an individual, but also within family and group relationships and activities. 

The personal interests of an individual will draw them into community, political and national groups, where they will again meet others with whom they have previously been affiliated. Group affiliations provide countless opportunities to transmute the creations of an individual together with others. These involve­ments, while they often represent a person's connection to the mass consciousness, also offer a pathway of redemption. This explains why you frequently have difficulty in relationships within groups, even extending into the spiritual activities in your lives. 

More often than not, people expect to have relationships and experiences in spiritually-based groups that are highly idealized, rather than understood as op­portunities to redeem misqualified energy from the past. If you take time to think about this, you will see that, as a chela, you are quite possibly being presented with the greatest opportunity of your lifetime, because you are placed in a position of trust in dealing with every aspect of your life and every relationship. Your integrity is being tested regarding every virtue of the Godhead, from your use of freewill and power, to the ability to extend unconditional love, comfort and patience to all life with which you come in contact. In that respect, perhaps it may be considered as a higher position of trust and thus should be even more carefully guarded from the human tendency to use it as yet another means of separation from God and Holy Brotherhood. 

Beloved friends of Light consider my words carefully, for the outer appearance of a priest or priestess of the Sacred Fire is no different in the sight of God than that of any other person. Meet every person with loving acceptance of the Christ within their heart, for the Christ within each one is the extending force of the I AM PRESENCE, always leading one to the exact place and position where, if they so choose, they may fulfill all vows they made at inner levels, before taking embodiment. 

When you enter the Silence during this week, contemplate your unity with all life, and the sacred opportunity to honor the life that your God Presence has placed within your hands. Breathe in the Pure Divine Love of the Cosmic Holy Spirit, and receive the intensified outpouring of all God's gifts during this time when you have the great privilege of gathering there. Know I will join you, dear friends!
