The Shamballa Letter
VOLUME 17, Number 16 April 21, 1995
Beloved students of sacred truth,
Often, when people become aware of the activity of The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom, they doubt its reality. At first many of them may be unable to find any substance, either in the teachings or in the work itself. This is primarily due to the fact that they are either not quite ready to see this or cannot accept the responsibility that awareness of knowledge such as this entails. However, those of you who are currently receiving my words have come to know otherwise.
The truth of Shamballa and its purpose has not been made up from fairy tales. It is an actual, tangible way in which you can assist not only yourself, but all your brothers and sisters in the human family to move forward on their evolutionary paths. This is done through understanding the many God-given principles this activity teaches and then discovering ways to put them into practice in your everyday life. Those of you who have already awakened to this awareness and become fully involved in this activity of light must therefore have great love and patience for the others until such time as they stand where you now stand.
As you observe individuals who are just beginning their search for truth, many are very determined in what they want to learn about and do. Still lead primarily by human consciousness, they show little interest in letting go and allowing themselves to be guided by the Presence of God to the concepts and teachings they require for further development. Others are extremely suspicious and fearful of looking at new ideas, no matter how much they want to, due to the information that has been ingrained in their consciousness over the years by spiritual leaders who have had authority in their lives. There are even those who go along with their peers, believing that the higher teachings offered to the mankind of Earth are not worthy of serious consideration.
Why do people sometimes feel this way? They are afraid - afraid that they might have to do something, in other words, take responsibility for the information they are receiving. Beloved ones, it is only when the reality of the truth you are given sinks in and you begin to actually manifest our teachings in the physical world, that you become a true student of the ascended masters.
Whenever you see one of your brothers or sisters responding in this way, love and support them, as they need time to sort out the truth. Be there for them when shifts in their consciousness take place and they wish to talk, sharing their new understanding and receiving further enlightenment from a friend. A person can talk all they want about divine principle, but this does not mean as much as the person who chooses to remain quiet and exemplify that which they have come to understand.
As you go forth this week offering your friendship to others, feel yourself enfolded in the love and gratitude of one who has always been your friend! I thank Holy Ĉolus for the opportunity to address you during the past few weeks and perhaps you shall hear from me again this year.
