The connection between the Higher Self and the physical form is an eternal and unchanging stream of pure electronic light, but the connection between the outer consciousness and the Presence is a bridge of thought and feeling, which must be created by the self-conscious endeavor of the lifestream aspiring to unity with God.

The physical connection of the Presence with the human form which animates the human heart is but part of the Higher Self that must be reestablished by every lifestream who has lost the right and the ability to receive directions unmistakably clear from the Presence wherein the activities of daily life are completely governed by the Higher Self. This is the natural God estate of every man, woman and child in the Universe! The blind groping of the outer self in an endeavor to comply with the law of one’s being is a far step from the natural illumined consciousness, which is directed in an unmistakably clear manner as to the procedure to be followed every instant of every day.

The training of the chela is to re-establish this conscious connection and communion so that, as Nada says so beautifully “every activity of daily life becomes the divine and perfect activity of the One.” You can in your own understanding and application endeavor to establish and sustain such a communion with your divinity, that your future progress might proceed in great peace to the fulfillment of your own individual destiny.

The Sea of Light

August 12, 1949

Visualize every man, woman and child standing in a great sea of pure light, which is as quiet as a lake on a calm summer day. That Sea of Light is the Universal Light Substance which fills every nook, cranny and corner of the universe.

Vibration is co-existent with creation, and the instant that this Light Substance, or energy begins to move… at that same instant form, from cause-and-effect begins to manifest through the energy in which they live. The unawakened constantly send forth vibratory actions which unveils form, just as you have seen when ripples of water circle out from a pebble dropped into the center of a pool.

The student, even the unawakened one, is a constant creator of vibration through thought and feeling. The nature of their vibration is determined of course by the thoughts and feelings held within. The manifestation of their environment, bodily condition, associations, are the outpicturing of their choices of thought and feeling through the centuries... just as the music that fills the room results from the choice of the musician as to the particular composition played.  

Students of Light must come now to the point where they are willing to recognize the vibratory action that passes from their body every instant of the day. When they are in full agreement with the laws of harmony their energy will naturally beautify, harmonize and purify everyone and everything connected with the student’s world and this will fulfill the Divine’s desire and design to expand.

Universal Light Substance fills the Universe. This Light Substance is the Body of God. It is quiescent except where some self conscious intelligence, through the creative power of thought and feeling, makes energy vibrate. The vibration of this energy creates form and produces cause and effect.  

The vibratory action of the psychic and astral realms in which humanity lives is produced by the self-conscious intelligences setting into motion the unformed energy of the universe, every thought and feeling determining the vibratory action of the energy, its ultimate form, cause and effect. 

It is therefore seen that in order to produce the vibratory action of the Kingdom of God the self conscious intelligences that inhabit the planet Earth must be illumined as to the ability they have within themselves to qualify the vibration of energy which produced the world in which they live. When humanity is educated and illumined the vibratory action emitted consciously or unconsciously from their bodies will begin to radiate forth from them in a more harmonious manner, and when they are internally attuned to the Infinite the external manifestation of the Golden Age will express. 

At this hour so much knowledge and understanding is being pressed into the intellectual consciousness of the people to teach each individual that vibration cannot exist except as it is set into motion by thought and feeling. You are making tremendous strides in the Higher Realms of Consciousness, beloved ones. Leave off struggling with the effects which are resulting from the mistaken choice of vibratory action set into motion by the unawakened. Chose rather to go to the core of the difficulty and ask that the vibratory action from the heart pulsate through the lifestream in spite of human free will, and set the world into Divine Order, as God intended. In so doing you will see results almost beyond your expectations.

In the Higher Octave creation always takes place accompanied by the most exquisite color, form and the most beautiful harmonious music, because as the energy of God is set into motion to enrich the universe the mighty Sacred Fire sweeping through that energy carries a tangible blessing to every electron that is to be a part of the mission for good. The electrons, which are quiescent, awaiting the choice of some God focus to become part of the active expression of beauty, respond with an on-rush of flame which is part of their own paean of praise and thanksgiving. Thus, you have the sweeping forth of the energy by which creation takes place and the rushing forth of the electrons acted upon, emitting both color and harmony because all creation is a joy indescribable when it follows God’s plan.  

Humankind likewise can press forth the Sacred Fire into the quiescent Body of God and the obedient electrons are forced into un-natural and distorted forms by the pressure of the energy in the thought and feeling of the unawakened lifestream and the creation thus manifesting can be un-natural in its expression as well as injurious to the rest of humanity, as the electrons going forth carry neither blessing nor enrichment to the universe.  

It is for humanity to again learn God’s way and draw forth from the Divine storehouse of ideas any number of perfect plans so that the entire planet Earth and its people might be enriched. When a lifestream is found who does this it gives the Electronic Light cause for great rejoicing, for by charging the Sacred Fire into that lifestream it carries with it the power to create form so precipitation can take place. 

Once the student has mastered this cosmic ability to work as God works while yet in a human vehicle they will find their life filled with opportunity and every instant becomes a joy in their ability to expand God’s Good. Press on in your present application with this new understanding, beloved of my heart, and see what the melody and the color tone of cosmic creation can draw through you for the enrichment of life everywhere! So be it!

Light in the Causal Body shows us the expansion of the lifestream's service to humanity, and the color of the radiation shows the particular choice of energy which the lifestream has voluntarily expended in the service of God’s Kingdom.  

Earnest and sincere chelas are constantly expanding their Causal Body and the color of the Light is growing ever greater in their service to life. As you turn your attention to the Great Presence from whose heart you came into being, the direction of that Presence will show you the specific intensity of light that you have already drawn forth and which you must yet draw forth to balance the color radiation according to your Divine Plan. Some bands of color are wide and some extremely narrow and those that yet need to be filled with your life energy must be expanded by your God Flame’s full pledge to life as previously established. 

In the heart of your silence and application, as your attention goes to that Causal Body you can see through the veil to that color radiation and your future service will be determined upon the desire in your heart to expand certain radiations which will more perfectly balance your color spheres.

Beloved ones, illumination comes to one through the heart. All scholars have a very powerfully developed intellectual consciousness. This makes a marvelous instrument for the spirit but the constant vigilance that must be maintained is to not allow reason to transcend inspiration. The Great Light Presence is anchored within the heart, and from the heart the Light comes, which illumines the mind. Ofttimes this heart-prompting is rejected by the mental body which has been the governing activity of the lifestream, for so long particularly those who have been teachers and scholars and searchers of truth. 

Your intuitive faculties and your heart flame are strong, but I counsel a constant, alert self-analysis, lest caution (which is sometimes of the intellectual body’s accretion) may limit the heart action whose fruits would otherwise be richer and more lasting.  

To assist in this endeavor practice a contemplative period several times a day in which some specific problem or experience can be placed on the altar of the higher mind, then withdraw your personal judgment, and preconceived plan of action, from the apparent condition to be handled. In the stillness allow the heart flame to pour through the problem and see if the Universal Consciousness will not sometimes prompt an entirely different analysis than the preceding one that you are so apt to obey by reason of momentum. If you assiduously apply yourself to this personal self-discipline it will greatly hasten the balance between the heart and the mind, which is so required by the masters.
