Assimilation and  Expansion

* The breathing statement should be given four times for each full breath. On the inbreath, breath in the qualities contained within the Flame. As you hold your breath in, absorb the qualities deep within every part of your being. As you breathe out, expand and increase the power and momentum of the divine qualities you are calling forth through the power of the Holy Breath. As you hold your breath out of your body, project these magnificent God Qualities forth to all life. Repeat this exercise a minimum of three full breaths.

The Holy Breath

The consciousness of the chela and all unascended is to place the world and all human beings who form the inhabitants of the Planet Earth outside them self. The Consciousness of the I AM is to hold all humanity, the Nature Kingdom, the Earth and the Universe within the Great Silence.

The chela should endeavor to cross that bridge consciously and come to a feeling that all people are inside them self. In so doing, their compassion and understanding will grow, and this ability to Love the discrepancies into harmony will be increased a thousand fold.

In meditation and contemplation, when you draw your deep breath, feel yourself expand like a great balloon until the tip of your circumference fills the Universe, also feel that all life lives in you. Then begin treating the individual parts, and see with what great success harmony can be brought and sustained.

The chela should learn to place them self in a natural state of mind conducive to proper breathing... the establishment of the Cosmic Breath through the lower bodies of the chela is a certain road toward Mastery, and toward Cosmic Service as well.

The shallow breath of the majority of humankind does not create a strong enough vibration to be a controlling influence even of the circle representing the lifestream's sphere of influence, for the breath does not extend much beyond eighteen inches from the body, whereas the sphere of influence of an intensely angry or agitated person can proceed many thousands of feet.

You will see, therefore, that in order to establish a rhythm strong enough to control the ethers in your own sphere of influence and to be conductors of the universe's outpouring of Love and Light, it is necessary and requisite to have the breath fill that sphere of influence by conscious control, inspiration and exaltation.

If you will feel your body surrounded by Light Rays to the very end of your individual sphere of influence, and then increase that sphere of influence until it covers the Planet Earth and the whole Universe, you will have placed yourself in a natural state of mind conducive to proper breathing. Then with the assistance of your Holy Christ Self begin to draw the Breath into yourself, and as you breathe it out, feel it fill the circle with color, carrying on the outbreath your blessings to life, feeling that Breath extending further and further.

I suggest that you do this gradually, begin with five minutes at a time, then relax. During the day there are many opportunities when you can re-establish that rhythm. After you have done this faithfully, you will have begun to establish a strong rhythm which will be poised and which will be a powerful conductor for Good.

If you will experiment preceding all action with the establishing of the Rhythmic Breath, you will find there will be no tension and no hurry, and great Light will ride on that Breath to fulfillment.

The effort of the outer self and a constant vigilance will bring great rewards. I am stressing the practice of the balancing, rhythmic breath to purify the bodies, to raise the consciousness, to illumine the mind, and to free the Spirit from the restraints of human thinking.

If you will experiment with these Breaths and feel within yourself the powerful forces that you draw from the ethers when you concentrate your attention on this deep breathing, and by so doing, absorb more than your usual allotment, you will want to proceed further in this study, knowing that it makes your mind more alert, your body more resilient, and your soul lighter. It requires an effort of the outer mind or self to draw these deep breaths, and it requires a constant vigilance lest the outer self feels the effort too rigorous. But, if you can continue to persevere until you experience the result of deep breathing you will no longer have to cope with the outer to assist you.

Every Ascended Master has a beautiful rhythm established by their voluntary use of Breath, and this rhythm which carries their Cosmic Tone and Keynote into the Universe is a positive means for distinguishing the Radiation that flows through the chela once the chela becomes acquainted with the substance and feeling within that Rhythmic Breath.

The Ascended Host, the beautiful rhythmic pulsation of the One Universal Consciousness begins to flow through the bodies of the chelas, and that pulsation sets up a new pattern within the emotional, mental, etheric and physical bodies of the students, giving them a most marvelous treatment, and enabling them to become one with the feeling of the universe while that connection is maintained.

You can experiment with great personal delight in the Rhythmic Breathing by turning your attention to any Member of the Spiritual Hierarchy, for you will find their vibratory action as a great source of strength, illumination, inspiration and encouragement.

The longer your own breath, and the deeper your plunge into the establishment of the Cosmic Rhythm of your own lifestream, the easier it will be for you to penetrate the higher rhythm of the Universe, because there will be less of a contrast and resistance between your lower and Higher Vehicles.

In India and in the Far East the unascended Masters expand their auras, and then through the Breath let the rhythm of their consciousness flow through the chelas. The chela's bodies are alert to accept that subtle, unseen current, and the chelas, through conscious effort emulate and amplify the original rhythmic pulsation through their own outpouring.

After the entire group are so attuned, the Master throws all of their energy upward, and the rhythm that they have built within the consciousness of the chelas rises at the same moment like an immense leading light, the concentrated and cooperative aspiration of both Master and students pierces through into the Higher Octaves and the resultant outpouring brings great illumination and unfoldment to all who have been privileged to participate in this silent but unified endeavor.

The unascended Master, therefore, benefits greatly by the presence of the chelas because their thought and aspiration, amplified by their force can plunge much higher into the Octaves of Perfection, and can draw back a greater outpouring by reason of the energies offered on high, than they could have achieved alone. This depends, of course, on this ability to govern the rhythm of their being. If they are master of the group, a much greater good is accomplished, but if this rhythmic outpouring is not as strong as that of the disciples surrounding them, their pulsation will have a dampening effect on this aspiration rather than the required sustaining power of this endeavors.

Deep breathing is truly the 'Fountain of Youth'. If you would endeavor time and again during the day to take a few minutes and draw a deep Breath into your body, feeling that you are drawing in the Christ Spirit, the lightness and happiness of the Air, and the light of the Sun, then holding that Breath within your body, feel it course through your nerves, your arteries, your blood, like the Elixir of Life, or the Living Water of the Fountain of Youth, which it truly is, then allowing that Breath to be returned to the Universe with your blessing for the use of it, you would find an ever-present source of strength and comfort and well-being in this exercise.

As you come to an understanding of the Breath, which is the activity of the Holy Spirit through humanity, you will be able to use that Breath as a protection against the emotional upheavals, physical depletion, emotional fatigue and the numerous manifestations that beset the body of every lifestream. Until the individual comes into knowledge of how breathing may regulate these appearances easily and in a sustained manner, there will be less manifestations of discord of various kinds apparent in this daily living.

The beauty of this instruction is that every man, woman and child has the capacity to breathe in the natural ethers all around them, and can mentally govern the Breath when instructed to do so, whereas many people unaware of the activity of the Breath are not developed enough to govern and control the invisible currents of the Higher Plane.

Looking at the upper figure on the Holy Trinity Picture you will see Rays of Light surrounding the Presence. These Rays form the circumference of the individual's world. The picturization is a good example of the invisible currents of thought that pass from the physical, etheric, mental and emotional bodies, and the strong feeling that can be generated and projected from the lower bodies determines the width of the circles of influence in which any individual functions at any given time in his evolution.

Most of the time the individual lives within a much smaller circle, than the longest beam of electronic energy that they are capable of creating intense enough to carry sufficient force to project themselves to any great distance.

Therefore, the individual usually has a larger capacity for influence than they are using, and there is a good half to two-thirds of their possible power to influence humanity which is utterly unused, except on rare occasions when they are stirred to their maximum effort either for good or otherwise.

In the service of the Spiritual Hierarchy it is most important that are individuals who have a large sphere of influence, because those electrical beams which form this capacity to project these feelings are the conductors of Divine Force... with the attention turned to the Light, the influence, of course, increases because more power is drawn into the lifestream and there is more power behind all thought and feeling.
