GROUP INSTRUCTION FOR TRANSMISSION CLASS 

BELOVED FRIENDS OF TRUTH: 

Almighty God, the loving Giver of your life, your very consciousness by which you read these words, bless you and all you love now with all Beloved Lanto's consciousness, feeling and full-gathered momentum of reverence for life; that "be-attitude" of graciousness and masterful living which makes and keeps you welcome everywhere you go, by all you contact by all life - animate and inanimate alike! Consciously accept this feeling, right here and now, and expect it to be forever sustained and ever-expanding! 

Years ago a great poet prayed that God would give him the gift of seeing himself as others saw him! In a way, this can be a rather bold request unless one does not mind hearing a bit of startling observation for every one we contact sees us differently according to his own development or lack of it. Therefore, one's judgment of his fellowman as he seems to us to be may not be accurate at all, even from a purely human standpoint, for, after all, we can only really know what we are! Until you have become a thing itself, you do not really know all about that thing and the same principle applies to a person. Often, there are many hidden influences playing upon the consciousness of another which are entirely unknown to the outer mind, perhaps even of the "victim" himself. Therefore, what might seem to be an unpleasant disposition in an individual may be only a momentary flash of some "unseen" aggravation felt by the inner bodies, which aggravation vents itself temporarily through the outer form; generally, that individual's nature being quite reasonable and a happy one. Remember Beloved Jesus' admonition "Judge not according to appearances..."? 

However, if one really wants to proceed in grace along life's Path, it is good, periodically, to take stock of one's self and see just how he is treating the life he is contacting every day; just what is his real attitude toward it. This attitude often makes all the difference in the world between God-success and so-called "failure." There is never any real failure, you know, there is only delay. But these delays can be and usually are painful, heart-breaking and costly in many ways. 

Now how does one normally treat a person, place, condition or thing which he reveres? First, his every thought, feeling, spoken word and action about it are loving, gentle, protecting and grateful, always giving some specific blessing which remains permanently with the blessed. Is that not the Way of Life of the Ascended Host, the Angels and all who live in the Realms above? Then it must be the God-way to live life, the way life was intended to be lived from the beginning! The 13th Chapter of 1st Corinthians in our New Testament gives us a perfect picture of graceful living with true reverence for life! 

If you were suddenly asked "what is just about the most irreverent thing we do to life" what would you say? Would you say that would be to lie about it; steal from it; make it suffer and appear to die? NO! No one of these is as destructive in its effects as that which so many people think is a harmless pastime - GOSSIP! 

Now, just what is the correct definition of "gossip"? One of the Great Ones once said that "Gossip is any conversation which will not assist one to the Ascension!" Then how much "gossip" do you think goes forth from the people of this planet every hour of the day, energy actually qualified with the poison of hate (for it could not possibly be Divine love!). Do you know that it actually kills the physical bodies of more people than swords and bullets? One of the Masters said once "You think that murder is the worst of crimes. I say to you that it is bad enough, of course, but GOSSIP is a far greater menace to the welfare and well-being of the people for murder only takes one out of embodiment until life can provide another body and send him back again. Gossip can so mar the inner bodies of an individual (etheric (memory) , mental and emotional) that it may delay his Ascension for centuries!" 

There is a story told about a man who, long centuries ago, had a habit of coming before the King every day with much gossip of that which was wrong in the Kingdom, with this one and that one. One day, the King, determined to cure the man of his bad habits, gave him a cup of liquid, filled right up to the brim. The King gave the man the cup early in the morning and told him to bring it back that same evening, having carried it all day through the streets without spilling a single drop. If any of the precious liquid were spilled, the man was to forfeit his own life.  

The man did as directed and joyfully returned to the King at eventide his cup intact, he did not spill a single drop. Said the King to him then: "What was wrong in the Kingdom today, you have not reported a single distress." 

Replied the man: "Sire, I was so engrossed with watching my own cup, seeing that none of the precious liquid was spilled, that I really did not see anything wrong anywhere, the whole day through." 

When we are engrossed enough with producing perfection in our own worlds we shall have little time left for observing the faults of others. 

Should not those of us who are attempting to represent the Masters and their great service to life in the physical octave (and this means particularly all who seek and serve the light anywhere) consciously endeavor now to daily accept Beloved Lanto's feeling of reverence for life called forth at the beginning of this letter, especially during this thirty-day period while his consciousness is more available than usual to those unascended? If we will do this in earnest sincerity, Beloved Lanto will answer us and make us an "arm of his Presence" in this physical appearance world, channeling through us to all we contact his feeling of God-reverence for life; for all life is the body of God himself! Then will our every-day sojourn here become more and more beautiful and happy and God-success in all we undertake be our grateful possession. Health and wealth can be yours too through this God-control of your energies and you will be sincerely loved by all you contact, because all life likes to be lovingly and gently approached and treated. The Bible tells us that "The tongue is an unruly member"... and its conquest makes one master of much in this world.

Help me remember Heaven's Law

"O, yes - if you'd have health and wealth

As well as peace of mind!" 

It seems so difficult to keep

From telling all that's wrong!

"But, my precious one, you must

If you'd sing the Victor's song! 

Then help me - dear Lord Lanto

From the lofty Teton's crest

Give me your reverent feeling

For life through every test! 

Help me to see the Christ in all

Though hidden it may be;

Knowing whate'er I do to life

I really do to Thee!
