Beloved chelas,

May I be one of the first members of the Spiritual Hierarchy to offer greetings and blessings, especially my gifts of ascension and joy, as we now enter a bright and shiny new year! The challenges and initiations of the twelve months just completed have been many and those of us in the higher realms have supported and comforted you every step of the way. Especially have we been there during your darkest moments, silently and lovingly enfolding you until you had the strength and understanding to once again regain a firm footing on your spiritual path.

As you have now entered a wonderful time when the mighty Flame of the Ascension shall touch every aspect of your life in ways previously thought impossible, my wish for each and every one of you is to have joy. Just as glad tidings went forth and covered the Earth two thousand years ago, this momentum goes forth once again, for this time the Consciousness of the Christ has truly been born in every human heart. With some gentle and loving nurturing, each child of God shall grow and develop, and one day you will all recognize and manifest on this plane of existence the reality of your own true being and that of all of your brothers and sisters in the human family.

My second wish to you this year is that each of you may come to truly know me, feeling the pure essence of my being always with you from this time forth. Since ancient times the mere mention of the words 'Serapis Bey' often brought negative feelings and memories to those of you who recognized my name. Yes, there have been times in the long distant past when perhaps my actions did not represent my divinity, but through the power of the sacred violet transmuting flame I was purified and this activity continues to work for me even today. Beloved ones, use this flame now, in the days and weeks to come, to remove the cause and core of all distress you may have concerning all your relationships, past and present, for this sacred gift has been given to you for this very reason―to purify negativity!

This does not mean, however, that you now have license to disregard the divine principles you have received over the course of your spiritual study and daily life experiences. With knowledge of the truth, you can no longer consciously choose to misuse energy, for you are now fully aware of the consequences. Use the tool of violet fire to purify, perfect and enhance your every thought, word, action and deed―in fact, every part of your life and, beloved ones, you shall rise ever higher on the wings of the mighty Ascension Flame, assisting all life in taking this wonderful journey also.

I want to remind you that some of the ideas about me have come about through my actual service to life. Part of my assistance to the children of Earth is to help you recognize―perhaps for the first time―your own Holy Christ Self. However, before this can happen you will also have to recognize those parts of yourself still in need of the violet transmuting flame. In other words, I AM a mirror for all that you must see within yourself before you can begin to complete your training on God's magnificent Fourth Ray. There may be times when you have faced me and felt fear or anger and it was but your own negative energy, magnified and brought to the surface of your consciousness, so you could transmute it and let it go, never to be misqualified again.

Beloved ones, during the next twelve months put all myths about me aside through the use of violet fire and use the sacred flames to assist you on your spiritual path. Focus your attention upon the gifts and tools you have been given, especially those of meditation, visualization, invocation, and decrees. Consciously choose to see and understand the positive within every aspect of human life, no matter how deeply you have to search.

Begin this process now and, as you give your decrees, recognize and adjust all statements that can be given from a more positive state of consciousness. The example that comes immediately to mind is in the Mantle of Light Decree. 'The Light of God is eternally victorious' paints a more perfect picture in your mind than 'The Light of God never fails,' even though the meaning of the two statements is much the same. Do not fear change, beloved ones! Change of a spiritual nature does not negate what has taken place in the past, but builds upon it, enlightening, enhancing and adding to what has been done previously. Change is an ever-present part of your evolution and shows continuing growth and development.

Through your every word and action show others how you have grown in your understanding, further fulfilling your part in the New Age of Spiritual Freedom. Also allow others the freedom they need in their spiritual quest, never sitting in judgment of your brothers and sisters as you further master your energies. I shall speak to you often during this year as will many other great beings of light. Through our words you shall receive many new ideas you will find helpful as you continue to serve our Father-Mother God, ever expanding the light of this world.

The love I have for you knows no bounds and the time has come for you to feel and experience the full power of the mighty Ascension Flame flowing through your being. I stand before you this morning with my arms outstretched, patiently awaiting your decision. Come, come, beloved ones, and release all that you no longer need. Put down your burdens of the ages, step into my flame now and become free!
