Beloved Children: 

We have often heard of a person's 'strength of character', which really means the individual's ability to withstand the pressure of the thoughts and feelings of the mass-mind and the momentum of energy that, from time to time, forms a strong pressure upon one or more of the bodies of the self. The centuries of training in the Spiritual Centers has always endeavored to so build and unfold the inner nature of the evolving lifestream to a point where only the pressure of Good from his own God-Self and that of the Ascended Masters would cause a change in the quality of his radiation.. 

When an individual is absolutely non-recordant to the discordant pressures that are brought to bear upon him as a member of the race and nation to which he belongs, and the pressures felt by discord in the emotional, mental, etheric and physical planes, such an individual has developed what is real 'strength of character' - it is a steady, constant radiation of Good in the outer world - a dependable individual, one not easily swayed by opinion, praise or blame, a lifestream whose radiation, like that of mighty Helios, the Sun, continues unabated and unchanging through all the vicissitudes that the world of maya presents from time to time. 

When we have chelas who can develop such a steady poise and heart-center in God, we come to a place where they can be used almost as our own bodies in the out-pouring of the One God Life. All who choose to serve us in an increasing capacity must develop this natural, unruffled, calm, poised, constant radiation of gentle Grace, Peace and Goodwill, because while a chela responds to every passing wind, the stability and anchorage in his or her own spiritual nature is not yet to a point where more than ordinary powers can be conferred upon him. We search constantly for such lifestreams, finding them seldom, but hoping that by presenting our requirements some will find it within themselves to fulfill them. 

With the outpouring of the Blessings which find more fertile ground in the chela's consciousness during the Seasons of the Year, when the majority of mankind turn their attention Godward, it is hoped that a greater number of the chelas will feel the pressure of our Love and Light and will selflessly dedicate themselves, wholeheartedly, to the Cause of Spiritual Freedom for all mankind, bringing that Peace and Understanding which is requisite to the forward progress of the race.
