Beloved Children: 

The Holy Christ Self is a focus and Intelligent Being with a nature, feeling, and thought consciousness, and as such the chela should cultivate it through contemplation at every opportunity. It is not the natural way of life for the outer consciousness to be separate from this great intelligent Presence, and there is no point in proceeding through another year unless we fulfill the fiat of merging these two consciousnesses - in fact, in form, in nature. 

The outer consciousness, as you are aware, is under the direction of your self-conscious will, and the pressures of thought and feeling are all within the compass of that awareness. The soul anchored within the outer consciousness is completely at liberty to draw into that consciousness at will, any phase of Truth or activity which it wishes to examine, and any quality of which it wishes to partake. It is, therefore within the possibility of every lifestream who knows mentally of this Holy Christ Self, to invite this unknown nature into the center of the awakening consciousness, and therefore passing the Light of the Spirit into this contemplated Higher Developed Self, in exactly the same manner as the Thought-Form begins to emit from within itself the directives by which it may become form. So does a contemplated Christ Self or Master invited into the outer consciousness begin to emit the substance and radiation of itself into the aura and world. 

This is an emotional and not a mental process by which the Nature of the Higher Self begins to infiltrate the outer nature, and in such a way the blending which is not always possible through the externalizing of the Holy Christ Self in a projected sphere, is affected. 

For a man to have a Christ nature projected from, or externalized out of his every day existence, is not enough. We must try in every manner to see that only the Holy Christ Self uses energy, creates form, draws life, and partakes of the elements that fill the Universe - thus as the ‘I’ increases does the appearance decrease. This in truth will be through contemplative sincerity, which causes a radiation of that Higher Nature to pulsate, and the transformation is done through radiation rather than restraint.
