The Shamballa Letter
VOLUME 12, Number 38 September 14th, 1990
Dear Ones,
I thank you for your service to the Children of Planet Earth during the past week, and I have every confidence in your sustained effort on their behalf in the weeks, months and years ahead! A great release of Cosmic Power has already taken place in response to your calls. I will share with you that the expansion of the Light within these homes and around the children and parents concerned is a beautiful and encouraging sight to see!
I would like to direct your attention to the use of my Flame, as I explained to you in a previous letter, around people who are at this time in dependent situations. Whether their individual surroundings are favorable or not and whether their care is adequate or not, there is a deep need for the sustaining of Spiritual strength within their consciousness.
Consciousness, my beloved ones, is a fascinating subject, and not an easy one to comprehend. It is not a subject that can be covered in one letter, or many. It is too vast to cover in such a way. Instead, we will study one small aspect now, and others at later times. Eventually, in this way, your education will become more complete regarding this subject.
Many mistakenly believe that if an individual appears to be unconscious, that he is unaware. This is totally untrue. All individuals are always aware at some level - or levels - of being. Consciousness is awareness, and the levels are multitudinous. But - I promised only a small aspect for right now! I speak now of people who find themselves in dependent situations, for whatever reasons.
Just as children may be especially vulnerable to negative forces if they are not protected, so also are those people who are dependent upon others for their physical welfare. Even if their environments are as favorable as possible, and they are surrounded by those who love them, there is the possibility of depression within their consciousness. The Angels of Transmutation and Protection, as well as the Angels and Beings from the Healing Rays and Temples are actively helping in these situations. There are also many little Elemental Beings who are happy to be called upon, and who love to be of assistance to mankind in this way, if they are asked. I mention this in passing, because you may ask for this help at any time, yet few people are aware of this!
My discussion has to do primarily with the subject of maintaining the Spiritual strength and faith of these dear people, while they are under this special stress. Their mental and emotional vehicles must be kept as positive as possible. Not only is this beneficial to them, but their positive attitudes are also extremely important to those who assist them, and the overall healing needed for the Planet.
No person enjoys feeling that they are of little or no use to those around them, and the fact is, every person is important and useful to all life around them. As well, they are useful to the Unity of all Planetary Life. This usefulness does not cease when a person - for whatever reason - is unable to contribute physically! Their attitudes, beliefs, and levels of endurance and faith make tangible contributions to all life. It is important that it be of a positive nature. A great deal of Spiritual progress upon their individual paths may take place at such times, and under such conditions, especially if they are fortunate enough to receive the love of others around them.
Beloved ones, I will only add here that all those who contribute in any way - however small - to the comfort of lifestreams, who are needy, are blessed in ways that only God Free Beings may know!
Whenever a situation is brought to your attention, I ask that you take time to intensify my Flame and its Radiation into them. I cannot over-emphasize the important benefits that will come out of this work on the part of any of our chelas!
