Beloved Chelas of the Light,

In my last letter, I gave you a description of the Ceremony during which the petitions that have been presented to the Karmic Board are consigned to the Flames. Now I would like to take you to the beginning of these events so you will have a complete understanding of the process involved. When we have covered these points, I will give you a full description of the ceremony itself, hoping that I may do it justice, and perhaps bring it to your full conscious memory.

Preceding the ceremony held on the last day of December and of June each year, all petitions have been studied by the Karmic Board, and discussed at length. Those who have presented petitions have already appeared before - and been questioned by - the Members of the Karmic Board.

This is an interesting procedure, because an Ascended Master, for instance, who has documented a plan for the furthering of Light for the planet in some way, must show the Board how he expects to fulfill his petition. This is the point at which the cooperation between the chelas and the Masters becomes the most important focus, for without a physical focus for the plan to be drawn into the Earth, a petition cannot be accepted.

When the Master formulates his plan, he looks at the chelas to see which ones might have interests which are compatible with it. Of course, much of this information is gleaned from the outer work in which the chela may be involved. For instance, a chela that happens to be in a medical profession will most likely be interested in petitions which have to do with healing in some way. Involvement in government or civil service would stimulate enthusiasm in an entirely different direction. Teachers, or those who work with children, will be brought into contact with those petitions which are concerned with the specific needs of the young people, their education, and so on.

As the Master surveys the possibilities open to him, he begins to work to impress certain needs upon his students telepathically, attempting to draw their attention and interest to those needs. Also, the students and chelas who seem likely to be in tune with his plan are brought - in their finer bodies - before the Master. The Master then discusses the plan which he has evolved with them. If there is enough interest generated, and the students agree at the inner levels to assist, the Master may then present these agreements to the Karmic Board as a part of his "collateral".

I use terms which will make the understanding as clear as possible. ALL LIFE IS ENERGY, and energy is the "coin" of the Kingdom, no matter in which "country" (realm) it may be spent! Just as you might go to a bank to secure a loan to build - or improve upon - your home, so does the Master apply for a special dispensation of energy from the Lords of Karma to assist the Earth in some way. Of course, in this instance, we ask you to think of the Earth as your "home" and of all mankind as your "family", for this is how the Master thinks.

It will clear your mental vehicle quickly to say to yourself - in any puzzling situation which may face you - "What would the Master think about this situation, and how would he solve it?" Try this approach, and you will see that it is a practical one.

During the coming week, please be thinking about whether you would like to submit your own petition for the betterment of the Earth and her evolutions in some way. If you have an idea, please begin composing your petition for presentation to the Karmic Board. Other­wise, ask to have one of the Master's Petitions revealed to you with which you might be prepared to assist during the next six month period of time.
