Beloved Students of the One Light,

Previously, I said; True understanding demands that an individual is able to - not only see and accept the truth for himself - but also teach it to others. Understanding brings the completion of the gifts of Enlightenment. It demonstrates that the teacher knows the Truth, grasps the inner meaning, and has some idea of how to apply it in a practical way.

As a developing chela, one of the things you will experience along your Spiritual Path from time to time is receiving certain knowledge and insights regarding others. This causes you to wonder what you are to do with such information and presents certain very important choices to you. You may wonder if you should share your insights with the person to whom they relate, or perhaps make suggestions you feel will help them to reach better decisions.

Perhaps it will help you to know that receiving knowledge about others does not necessarily mean that you should give advice to them. We have taught you not to offer counsel unless asked, and then only after immersing yourself in the golden beam of Light from your I AM Presence, giving the Inner Christ full command of your words. As you do this, you are discovering that your I AM Presence is often silent! When this is the case, understand that this is your answer at that moment and know it is best not to give specific information or advice at that moment. What action, then, should you take?

Within your heart, always affirm that you have absolute confidence in the Power of God in others, as well as in yourself, to bring forth whatever is necessary for their best and highest interest. In addition, you may also wish to encourage them as they become more self-confident and develop their abilities to solve their own problems, situations and relationships.

Sometimes you may feel that you know the Law, the Divine Principle,  that applies to the situation of one who comes to you. However, it is possible that this is given only so that you may hold this understanding as a part of the Immaculate Concept for those concerned. In any case, leave the application of the Principle up to the one who asks. The most effective way of teaching is - and shall always be - setting the example in your own lives.

The point of true understanding is not to tell others how they should solve their personal individual challenges, but to give them the tools by which they may accomplish this themselves.

Take time to think deeply upon my words. Continue to build your relationship with your precious I AM Presence, knowing that when you ask a question, the Presence always answers. Take a moment right now to accept the truth of this statement, and then you have only to ask your Presence to help you recognize the answer! All is in the recognition - the awareness.

Continue also to build the strength and power of your Mantle of Light, until it becomes a comforting aura of protection, wisdom and love around you. Through this magnificent Mantle of Light, God's Gifts will flow freely to you and also to all those around you, with or without the use of words.

Your Friend and Teacher, Kuthumi
